Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping the educational landscape, and Hong Kong is proactively driving innovations in pre-tertiary AI and AI-enhanced education. This keynote will showcase cutting-edge curricular advancements that empower students with foundational AI knowledge, toolkit-based interactive learning, comprehensive GenAI competencies, and essential ethical literacy. Additionally, we have developed a curriculum-guided, knowledge-grounded question-answering system powered by generative AI to enable personalized learning with secure on-premises deployment. The talk will also illustrate how we leverage AI technologies to effectively personalize English language education, enhancing essay writing, reading comprehension, listening skills, and interactive group discussions. Ultimately, our aim is to nurture learners who are not only technically proficient in AI but also ethically responsible and confident digital citizens, fully prepared to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven future.
