AI Quiz Competition for Secondary School Students 2025

S.3 to S.5 students in the 2024/25 school year (Each school can present a maximum of eight students to compete in the competition)

13:45 – 14:45	AI Talk "The Eye of AI: How AI Sees and Interpret Images?" (working title)	How do computers see, observe and understand the world? How does AI look for features in images using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)? Examples of AI applications in today's world
14:45 – 15:15	Break
15:15 – 16:45	Quiz Competition (in pen-and-paper format)	AI and Innovative Technologies Fundamentals Robotics Computer Vision Mathematics Logical Reasoning

The Best AI Award	Top five students will be awarded The Best AI Award and offered a 6-week job shadowing programme opportunity in the summer.
Silver Award, Bronze Award and Certificate of Merit	Well-performing students will receive the Silver Award, Bronze Award and Certificate of Merit based on their rank.
Certificate of Participation	All students will receive a Certificate of Participation as an encouragement.

1是次比賽將以甚麼形式進行﹖

比賽將採用閉卷考（Closed-book Quiz）的方式進行，題形包括多項選擇題及計算題等。參加者謹記帶備文具及計算機参加比賽。

2比賽結果將於何時公布﹖

比賽結果將於五月下旬透過本計劃網站公布及以電郵通知參賽者。而比賽證書將於六月上旬至中旬郵寄至參賽者所屬中學。

3什麼是「工作影子計劃」﹖

在是次比賽中成績名列前五的參賽者將獲邀於暑假期間參與為期六週「工作影子計劃」，親身參與到中大的科研工作，由本計劃頂尖研究團隊指導開發AI機械人，並有機會為研發成果申請專利，成為專利共同發明人。
