The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) recognizes the need for introducing AI into pre-university education to cultivate the competitiveness of Hong Kong’s young generation. The AI subject is traditionally under the disciplines of science and engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The challenge is to design an AI curriculum that is accessible to secondary students with diverse interests.
